At least twice a year, contact teachers must hold a planned and structured review with parents/guardians. Such a review is called a conference session or development review. The children can also attend these reviews. Children become entitled to attend when they reach the age of 12.
Dialogue concerning the child’s development
The conference session is an arena for dialogue, to assess the pupil, both academically and personally, and should contribute to the further development of the pupil. The review must result in a summary agreed between the pupil (if the pupil is involved), teachers and parents that sets out the areas that must be given special emphasis in the further work.
